About UsHeaton Planning is a growing town and country planning consultancy, established in 1999. Since its establishment the Company has maintained growth, becoming a limited company in 2003 and moving to our present offices in Keyworth, Nottinghamshire in 2004. The Planning Consultancy consists of professional RTPI accredited planners who have experience in most areas of town and country planning and a specialism in minerals planning and waste planning matters, including those requiring Environmental Impact Assessment and the preparation of Environmental Statements. Heaton Planning has substantial experience in both the private and public sector, providing a professional planning service to a range of companies, as well as providing professional planning advice to a number of planning authorities in the East Midlands area and beyond We are client focussed, always seeking to secure our client's aspirations wherever possible. Our approach is based on a sound understanding of the town and country planning system and the proper application of planning policy and the Town and Country Planning Acts. We adopt a rigorous approach to project management and the use of specialist consultants, particularly for the management and preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments. Heaton Planning is not tied to any one firm of consultants/ specialists. We carefully assemble project teams depending on the detailed requirements of a particular project and in close liaison with our clients. We are committed to ensuring positive outcomes on planning applications and development proposals, and seek to achieve this through negotiations with planning authorities and interested parties, liaison with legal advisors and advice to clients regarding planning conditions and legal agreements. We seek to maintain good working relationships with key organisations in the planning system.
