School Development Planning Service
Heaton Planning has assisted Local Authorities with their Development Control caseloads, the majority of which comprise County Council’s own school development, including new school complex, building extensions and annexes, temporary classrooms, fencing and sports areas. Heaton Planning also offer a service direct to schools and educational facilities in preparing planning applications for their on-campus developments. Some of the projects that we have been involved with include:
Gainsborough Educational Village – Lincolnshire County Council –Erection of a new Educational Village plus associated sports fields and car parking.
Halam Primary School – Nottinghamshire County Council – Single storey extension
Bowbridge Primary School – Nottinghamshire County Council – Large two storey extension to accommodate 10 classrooms and redevelopment/refurbishment of existing sports facilities
North Wheatley Primary School – Nottinghamshire County Council – single storey front extension and internal alterations to accommodate a new entrance lobby, head teachers office, school office and enlarged staff room
North Leverton Primary School – Nottinghamshire County Council – Re-cladding of external walls following flood damage
Mapperley Plains Primary School – Nottinghamshire County Council – New ball catching fencing
Colonel Frank Seeley – Nottinghamshire County Council - New perimeter fencing
Westfield Folkhouse – Nottinghamshire County Council – Redevelopment of listed building to accommodate improved youth centre facilities including external sports facilities
St Wilfrids Primary School – Nottinghamshire County Council – single storey extension and alterations to school building
Arnold Hill School – Nottinghamshire County Council – Extension and alterations and new car parking facilities
Bleasby Primary School – Nottinghamshire County Council – New single storey extension to school building
