Simon Heaton
Simon set up Heaton Planning in 1999. He is responsible for the overall running of the practice as well as being fully involved in casework on behalf of a variety of clients. Casework includes the preparation and submission of planning applications including those requiring Environmental Impact Assessment; project management of large proposals; development plan analysis and submission of representations; site/ land appraisals and desktop studies; and acting as a planning witness at Public Inquiries and Hearings.
Chris Smith
Chris joined Heaton Planning in 2003, when the practice became a limited company. He is responsible for the submission of planning applications including those requiring Environmental Impact Assessment; as well as the analysis of documents emerging from the Local Development Framework process, including the preparation and submission of representations; appeals; site appraisal and project management. Current clients include Ennstone Plc, Bullimores Sand and Gravel Ltd. and a number of mineral and waste operators and local authorities within the East Midlands.
Spencer Warren
Spencer joined Heaton Planning in August 2004, he is responsible for the submission of planning applications including those requiring Environmental Impact Assessment; as well as the analysis of documents emerging from the Local Development Framework process; including the preparation and submission of representations; appeals; site appraisal and project management. Current clients include UK Coal Mining Ltd, Ennstone Plc, Bullimores Sand and Gravel Ltd and Lafarge Aggregates Ltd.
Jenna Polak
Jenna joined Heaton Planning in 2007, she is responsible for: the submission of planning applications; providing professional planning advice; the analysis of Development Plans and the preparation and submission of representations and the promotion of sites through Local Development Frameworks; co-ordinating appeals including preparing written evidence; site appraisals and development feasibility studies and providing assistance to senior members of the team with development projects.
Jonathan Wall
Jonathan was introduced to Heaton Planning in 2006 in order to gain professional experience whilst completing his degree at Newcastle University. He has now returned to complete a placement with the Company with a view to now completing his diploma in Town Planning in 2008.
