UK Coal – Lodge House Surface Mine

Heaton Planning are pleased to announce that the extension to UK Coal’s Lodge House surface mine was unanimously approved by Derbyshire County Council’s Planning Committee following a recommendation from planning officer’s to approve.  This has resulted from 12 months of carfeul negotiation between all parties and secures the future production of coal from the Lodge House site.
