We are pleased to welcome Alicja Kordula to Heatons as an Assistant Ecologist.

Alicja completed her MSc Biodiversity Conservation in 2020 and has also completed two survey seasons for an environmental consultancy where she helped with surveys for Great Crested Newts (bottle trapping, torching, eDNA and translocations), active & inactive bat surveys and reptile. Since joining Heatons, Alicja has been busy carrying out surveys and using the Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Metric to assist landscape colleagues in developing mineral restoration schemes.

Alicja also volunteers as a Data Analyst for the Nottinghamshire Bat Group and has assisted with habitat management at Sinfin Nature Reserve, Hardwick Hall and Lea Wood.
