Heatons are delighted to have been able to assist our client Godkin Properties secure planning permission to renovate and restore a former Church Hall in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire Dales.  The former Church Hall will provide 3 holiday lets.

Working alongside the team at Green 2K Design we provided evidence to overcome concerns regarding the perceived loss of a community facility. We developed evidence with local stakeholders and successfully justified that a long period of marketing would not be necessary and demonstrated clear and immediate economic benefits arising from supporting construction activity and providing much needed overnight accommodation in this popular location on the edge of the Peak District. 

Godkin Properties are looking forward to making the accommodation available when Covid-19 restrictions are eased.
