Joel joined Heaton Planning in 2014 after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University. Joel provides professional planning advice to clients in the form of specific site appraisals and feasibility studies as well as managing clients’ land interests through the Development Plan system. Joel works with a range of clients from private individuals to large companies with landholdings across the UK. Joel is responsible for the preparation and submission of Planning Applications which have involved the preparation of Environmental Statements for EIA projects, as well as Planning Statements, Design & Access Statements, and Flood Risk Assessments for a wide variety of residential, commercial and minerals clients. Joel has managed projects which involved overcoming Green Belt constraints and regularising matters subject to Enforcement action.
