Heatons recently achieved outline planning permission for the demolition of a vacant public house and residential redevelopment of the site to provide up to four dwellings.

Alongside Green 2K Design and Vectio Highways Consulting, we worked with the local planning authority to overcome initial concerns and made necessary amendments to the site layout and access to maximise the potential of the site. The application was subject of an Asset of Community Value nomination and, after engagement with Council officers, this was ultimately deemed invalid.

Members of the Planning Board unanimously found that the development proposal meets the three dimensions of sustainable development within the National Planning Policy Framework and provides an opportunity to assist the on-going pressing need to deliver housing on brownfield sites within the region.
